FAQ

Everything to know before contacting Forge.

Get answers about scope, access, delivery, reports, and how the manual QA audit works.

What do I need to provide?

Send the product URL, requirements or user stories, key flows, preferred devices or browsers, and access notes if login is required.

Do you test mobile apps?

Yes. Forge can test mobile apps through TestFlight, internal testing links, APK access, staged builds, or guided screen recordings.

Do you need login credentials?

Only for authenticated flows. Temporary test accounts are recommended. Credentials are used only for testing and can be deleted after audit completion upon request.

Can I request an NDA?

Yes. A mutual NDA can be provided before testing begins.

How are credentials handled?

Access information is handled only by the assigned QA engineer and used only for the audit. Use temporary test accounts, staging environments, and test data whenever possible.

Can I submit incomplete requirements?

Yes. Plain English is enough. If you do not have formal user stories, describe the product goal, important user flows, and areas you are worried about.

How is the QA scope decided?

Forge reviews your product URL, notes, timing, and risk areas before recommending the right QA scope. If anything is unclear, we may suggest a short call or chat before testing begins.

Do you perform manual testing?

Yes. Forge audits include manual QA testing. AI helps with planning and report structure, but a QA engineer validates findings and prepares the final report.

How is AI used?

AI assists with test planning, scenario ideas, finding organization, and report preparation. AI does not replace manual testing, professional QA analysis, or final release judgment.

What is not included in the audit?

Forge audits do not include full security penetration testing, compliance certification, load testing, or a dedicated long-term QA team unless separately agreed.

Is this automated or manual?

It is a manual QA audit. Forge may use internal tools to organize coverage and reports, but every finding is validated through professional QA analysis.

What happens after I submit the form?

Forge reviews your startup, product URL, and notes, then contacts you with the best next step. Scope, timing, and price are confirmed before testing begins.

Can I request urgent testing?

Yes. Mention your release date or demo deadline in the contact notes. If the request is too large for an urgent review, Forge will recommend a realistic scope.

Will I receive a PDF report?

Yes. Reports are prepared in a professional format that covers bugs, severity, priority, reproduction steps, risks, and recommendations.

Can Forge test before every release?

Yes. Release Gate is designed for recurring pre-production checks, regression coverage, and launch confidence before important releases.
